Kristen & Torrance – A Lachine Canal Wedding That Had It All: Love, Fire Ants & a Rumbling Dance Floor.

Bride and Groom in a loving moment during their wedding day in Montreal

Torrance & Kristen on their wedding day

Listen… you ever been to a wedding so good that even the building was dancing? Yeah, that was Kristen & Torrance’s big day. I’m not exaggerating.By the end of the night, the restaurant floor was shaking like it was trying to join the cha-cha line.

The Ceremony. A Perfect Lachine Canal Backdrop

Torrance & Kristen Wedding Ceremony

The day started with a stunning outdoor wedding ceremony. We’re talking a gorgeous outdoor ceremony right by the Lachine Canal. Sun shining, breeze flowing, and Kristen looking like a Vogue cover that came to life, rocking her True Romantic wedding gown . Torrance? Looking like the guy who just won the genetic lottery and still had time to hit the gym. And then there was little Sienna, Kristen’s beautiful baby girl, stealing hearts left and right.
…Until I made her cry.
Yeah, yeah, I know, “Braulio, how could you?” It wasn’t on purpose! I was wrangling the guests for the big group photo, said something in my loud photographer voice, and boom, Sienna’s like, “Nope, I’m out.” Poor thing never forgave me. I spent the rest of the day feeling like the villain in her Disney movie.

The Fire Ant Incident (Yes, In Montreal!)

Now, Montreal weddings usually bring a few surprises, but this was a scary one. We’re in the middle of bride & groom portraits. Romantic, cinematic, the whole Nicholas Sparks vibe, when suddenly Kristen freezes. Then she starting… dancing? Jumping? And in came the reason for her unscripted reactions… FIRE ANTS!!!

She got attacked mid-photoshoot. Like… full-on nature’s revenge. But here’s the thing. She must have stepped into their nest and they all went on attack mode up her dress and legs.

Here’s the thing tho. Instead of letting it ruin her day, she cleaned herself up, took a deep breath, came back even stronger, and somehow looked more stunning for the second round of portraits. Kristen One, Fire Ants Zero.

The Reception. Where Montreal’s Dance Floors Fear to Tread

The reception was held at the gorgeous Restaurant L’ambroisie, and the speeches were a perfect mix of heartfelt and hilarious. The first dance between Kristen & Torrance? Straight out of a movie. The father-daughter dance had everyone tearing up, and the mother-son dance proved Torrance inherited his big heart.
Then… the party started. And when I say party, I mean a Montreal wedding reception that could rival the nightlife on Crescent Street. The dancing got so intense the floor started shaking. No exaggeration, the ground literally moved. Which is actually normal whenever the DJ is from Marco Ferri Entertainment team

Why This Montreal Wedding Stands Out

Between the Lachine Canal wedding ceremony, the unexpected fire ant drama, and a reception that nearly broke the floor, Kristen & Torrance’s wedding was unforgettable. But more than that, it was a celebration of two people who look at each other like nothing else in the world matters.
It’s the kind of love that doesn’t just survive a wedding day, it dances right through it, shaking the ground under your feet.

As for me, the photographer in charge of saving these memories for them, nothing makes me happier than receiving a review like the one you see below. This is why I do this.

” We LOVED our experience with Braulio. He was so supportive from the day we first spoke with him until now! He gave us everything we wanted and more. Everyone loved his energy at our wedding. We had a huge list of family photos for him and we were worried it would take too much time, but he was so organized and efficient, we got it done in much less time than anticipated! The best part is he got all our pictures ready for us within 12 days of our wedding! He really went above and beyond in every aspect he could’ve and he helped make our wedding day so special. We just got the pictures today and are SO happy with them!!!! 10000% recommend Braulio! “
